More screenings of Bob Gale's “Interstate 60”

Highly anticipated film now slated for Spring 2003 theatrical release

Two more screenings of Bob Gale's new film, Interstate 60, have been announced, with the famed Writer/Director/Producer set to attend both events for audience Q&A.

The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival will first screen the film four times — Thursday, November 7 (7:20 PM), Friday, November 8 (5:00 PM & 9:00 PM), and Sunday, November 10 (9:00 PM).  Bob Gale tells me that he will be in attendance, and expects to do a Q&A with the audiences between the two Friday screenings.  Visit www.fliff.com/films2002/interstate.htm for theater details and ticket information.

As a bonus, an outdoor screening of Back to the Future will also be presented on Friday, November 15 at 7:00 PM.  Details on this event can be found at www.fliff.com/listings/moonlight.htm.

The 11th Annual St. Louis International Film Festival will present an encore screening of the film on Saturday, November 16 at 1:00 PM, with Gale in attendance as well.  As you may remember, the festival screened the film earlier this year at their Second Annual St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase on July 27 (BT; 7/30).  Further details are posted at www.sliff.org/2002/02_fest/02sched.html.

IDP, the film's distributor, now expects to release Interstate 60 next Spring when their advertising campaign is firmly in place.  A specific release date has yet to be determined.  Stay tuned for further details. [Thanks to 'DocBosch' for his contribution to this story]
